My Mind Runneth Over...

You Should Be a Film Writer

You don't just create compelling stories, you see them as clearly as a movie in your mind.
You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life.
Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling.
And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!

Well, that was a fun quiz. Thanks to Marly Mathews for that one! Lots to pour out of my overflowing mind tonight. First, I have a release date for LIGHTING THE TREE--drumroll....November 17. Woo hoo! I really like this story and how it fleshed out with the help of my editor, Rhonda. My hubby read it and he loves it...**grin**

FOXFIRE, my romantic suspense novel, is coming along nicely with the edits. Should hae those completed by the first of next week. They were really minor, no rewriting or fleshing needed, but...

I hurt my back and have been in major pain. I have arthritis in my spine and I had some discomfort for the past week or so, but Sunday I stepped out of the car after church and WHAM!!! I was in tears trying to get in the house. Spent the day laying around and refusing to go to the hospital. Monday went to the doctor. Couldn't see my regular doctor who is qualified to do chiropractic adjustments as well as medical treatment. Had to see the new guy in the clinic, who was young and didn't have a clue about me and my "back"ground. So, he says, "What do you want me to do? Give you a stronger pain medication?" Argh! I wanted to strangle him. Then he proceeds to say, "My father-in-law asks me for free medical advice and I tell him, you're getting older. What can I say?" At that point I wanted to punch his face. So...I wound up getting my arthritis medicine changed (at least he gave me a 30 days supply) and told to schedule an appointment with my regular doctor. Missed two days work and went in today, but I'm paying for it now.

So...what's going on in your world?

Hey Carol Ann,

I hope you start feeling better soon...:)

Congrats on the release date for Lighting The Tree!

I'm also glad that you liked the quiz...I think they're fun and it's interesting to see what sort of results other people get when they take them.
